Joy of Music is a group of young musicians with members from elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and sometimes college students. We use our music talent to serve the community.

INDIVIDUAL SESSION
Joseph provides one-on-one tutoring for kids/teens
During the evenings, weekends or summers, Joseph tutors kids/teens how to play violin. His students is diverse, coming from from kindergarten to middle school.

During the weekend, Joseph organizes and leads group rehearsals, such as violin group rehearsals and quartet rehearsals.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR OF JOY OF MUSIC
Joseph (Joey) is a Freshman at Claremont McKenna College. He has played violin since 4th grade. Joseph is a talented musician, and he has used his passion to bring music to the people of his community since 2018. His favorite volunteer service was working with his Joy of Music to provide music lessons to youth in his community, as well as a mentoring program to help boost their self-confidence. On the weekends, Joseph and his groups: Dreams Quartet of Omaha and Joy of Music perform for residents in senior living communities. Joseph is also a volunteer with "Christmas with Omaha Symphony" since 2012. In addition to spreading compassion through music, Joseph also enjoys volunteering at a Women’s hospital.
